ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I’d like to thank all who granted me time for interviews, which helped complete this portrait of Amy’s life. My interviewees included Garry Mulholland, Julie Burchill, Mark Simpson and Zeddy Lawrence.

Thanks to everyone I have worked with at John Blake Publishing down the years. Particularly to Lucian Randall, Rosie Virgo, Stuart Robertson, Allie Collins, Amy McCulloch, Joanna Kennedy, Diana Colbert and – of course – John himself.
I am grateful to all my friends, family and to everyone who has bought any of my books. Thanks to Chris for everything.
It has been a fascinating honour to follow and document Amy’s life over the past four years. She is so missed. May her mourners be comforted.
