Enjoy traditional ink-and-wash paintings
The ink-and-wash painting technique is considered to be representative of traditional Chinese painting. Painters use a brush pen dipped in a mixture of ink and water, and paint on traditional paper. The basic ink-and-wash painting uses only water and ink, so there are only two colors, black and white. But more advanced inkand-wash paintings like fine brushwork and bird-and-flower paintings use many colors. The ink is one of the most special elements in Chinese painting. Using different amounts of water, the ink can be diluted to varying gradations, from black to gray to white, a characteristic known as the "charm of ink". Excited by the sight of the big, round eggs, the mice decided to steal them and started trying to move them into their hole. But the eggs were too big and slippery and none of the mice could keep hold of them. One by one, the eggs crashed onto the ground and broke.
Then, the elder mouse came up with a way to move the eggs. He told his younger brother to lie down on his back and placed an egg on his belly. While the elder mouse pulled him along by his tail, the youngest mouse pushed.
When the big bear came back home and saw the broken eggs all over the floor, he flew into a rage. He had an idea who was behind the mess.
The big bear wanted to catch the mice. But his hands were too big and he couldn't get them in the hole to pull the mice out. Spotting the well outside, he came ............
