Introduction
 
   In life, one of the greatest ambitions that many of us have is to be loved, and to love someone else in return. For centuries, those who have not met this need by normal methods have turned to the powers of magick to fill it. Love spells are nothing new, and if you are reading this, I can assume that you have decided to take it upon yourself to perform one or more of them. There are, however, a few details we should address first.
 
  To begin with, there is more than one type of love spell, Immediately upon hearing about magick that is connected to love, one conjures up the image of the magickal practitioner casting spells that force others to fall in love with him or her against their will. While this certainly is possible, the bulk of magick that deals with love is, in fact, quite benign. Couples that are already in a loving and dedicated relationship can benefit from magick as well, albeit in different ways. Similarly, magick may be employed to help a person meet someone new, or to give them the opportunity to attract the attention of someone they are interested in.
 
  For these reasons, we will not herein concern ourselves with the ethics of the use of magick in these areas, as those determined to use it improperly will doubtless find ways and means of doing so. I will say briefly that the magick spells and procedures with which you will be presented here work. They are not a game, and they are to be treated with a serious and sober mind, as well as the respect that befits them. With this in mind, let us remember that you shall reap what you sow in the world of magick, and that only you are responsible.
 
 
Understanding Love Magick
 
  That magick which concerns itself with love and the world of the human heart is inevitably powerful.  This is not because of the spells or the spellcaster, but because of the very nature of magick itself.  Magick, at its base, is the use of the energies and currents of the human body to affect the world around us. Those energies are tightly linked to thought and emotion. Aspects of life that elicit powerful emotional responses, such as love or hate, therefore, are naturally more inclined to power.
 
  Love magick is intended to, in almost all cases, do one of three things: to cause attraction, to create an opportunity for attraction to be expressed, or heal emotional wounds and restore attraction.
