SCOTT TUROW
    Scott Turow was a Fellow in creative writing at Stanford, before attending Harvard Law School. He served with distinction as an assistant US attorney in his native Chicago, trying and winning a number of important cases involving the Illinois legal system. He is now a partner in a Chicago law firm.
    Penguin also publish his novels Presumed Innocent, winner of the 1987 Silver Dagger Award, The Burden of Proof and Pleading Guilty, the first two of which have been made into highly successful films.
